About Kingdom Wear
Workwear for Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Wear provides embroidered workwear for Christians who are actively serving their communities—through business, ministry, and practical outreach.
Whether that looks like running a café, leading a craft group, organising a food bank, or supporting others in everyday ways, what you wear can reflect who you serve.
Our aim is simple:
to provide durable, comfortable clothing that reflects the Kingdom of God—without the cringe.
Our Story
Kingdom Wear began in September 2022 at a conference in Glasgow. the speaker said we need more Christian clothing brands. Susan thought I can do that so why not have a go.
During a worship service at the same even , our founder Susan experienced a surge of creative ideas—designs, products, and a vision for something that combined faith, community, and practical action.
That evening, she filled pages of her notebook with ideas. What started as inspiration became a clear direction.
But it took time to refine.
At first, the designs didn’t quite fit. Some felt too bold. Others felt too focused on church settings rather than everyday life.
Then everything clicked.
These weren’t fashion items.
They were workwear.
Workwear for people who are out in the community—serving, helping, building.
Why Workwear?
Think about what people wear while at work. Go round a supermarket on an evening and you many people in workwear shopping for their evening meal.
MAny of them are wearing sweatshirts or polo shirts with embroidered logos—simple, practical, recognisable.
That’s what inspired this approach.
People serving their communities need clothing that:
- Is comfortable for real work
- Lasts through regular use
- Makes them recognisable and approachable
Kingdom Wear Wales exists to meet that need.
Why Embroidery?
Experience has shown that embroidery lasts far longer than print.
Printed designs can crack, peel, or fade—especially when worn regularly.
Embroidery, on the other hand:
- Stays intact over time
- Looks more refined and durable
- Feels more like part of the garment
It’s not just practical—it also reflects something deeper.
Embroidery has long been associated with garments of dignity and importance. That makes it a fitting choice for clothing that reflects the Kingdom of God.
About Susan
Susan brings decades of experience in building community groups, particularly supporting people with additional needs.
Over time, she came to understand something important:
Community work needs sustainable income.
Rather than relying entirely on grants or donations, she began exploring ways to create income streams that support outreach.
Kingdom Wear is one example of that approach—a business designed to serve both practical needs and a wider purpose.
More Than Clothing
Kingdom Wear is not just about garments.
It is part of a wider vision:
- Supporting community-based work
- Encouraging enterprise over dependency
- Reflecting Kingdom values in everyday life
This is clothing designed not just to be worn—but to be lived in.
Kingdom Wear also helps support wider independent, community-focused work aimed at helping individuals and groups grow, rebuild, and move forward in practical ways.
Every purchase contributes towards that ongoing work.
Made in the UK
All designs are created in the UK and produced through UK-based fulfilment.
This ensures:
- Consistent quality
- Faster delivery
- Designs that reflect British culture and context
Who we are connected to and who we are not
Kingdom Wear is connected to other projects run by Susan, including Worship Tools. This allows the work to remain focused, flexible, and able to serve people in practical and creative ways.
This allows for coordinated outreach—for example:
- Wearing a design
- Displaying a matching banner
However, Susan works independently to create practical resources that help support individuals and communities. This store is not connected to or operated by any church or organisation other than Kingdom Business Development Limited. (A conpany set up and run by Susan.)
